Originally pioneered by Sonika Tinker, the LoveWorks approach is lighthearted, effective and deeply transformational relationship work. Based in Auburn, CA, our workshops have supported couples and individuals since 1990.
For therapists, this work serves the dual purpose of improving your own relationships with spouse, family, co-workers, friends, or ex's, as well as upleveling your ability to support clients to navigate the complexities of their relationships with our unique tools and approach. One weekend with LoveWorks is approved for 17 credits.
"Christian and Sonika's take on how to make a relationship its best is simply wonderful. We have put the tools they gave us into affect almost every day since and have seen positive changes in our relationship. As a Psychotherapist, I successfully use Christian and Sonika's interventions in my practice. I highly recommend spending a completely gratifying and enlightening weekend with this inspiring couple." Marc L’Ecluse, MFT
"When I look back at our year, the weekend we spent with Sonika and Christian stands out as perhaps the most influential. Every time we tap back into those lessons and remember to open to love, we move in profoundly better ways. My heart swells just thinking about it. As a therapist, LoveWorks has been my go-to referral for couples who seem stuck and need a big transformation. Everyone who’s gone has reported wonderful results. I can wholeheartedly attest to their excellence." Brian Lewis, MFT, ATR
“I’ve done Gottman, Harville Hendricks’s Imago, Hedy/Yumi’s Encounters in Intimacy, Stan Tatkin, Somatica Couples training, Family Life, New Life and multiple church marriage camps - nothing parallels the life changing, accessible and game-changing tools I learned at LoveWorks.” Tania Choi, MFT.
"As a School Psychologist, I am forever offering assessments and recommendations to parents, teachers and administrators for how to better address student problems and conflicts in the classroom. Working with LoveWorks has helped dramatically improve not only my confidence and delivery, but has expanded my repertoire of effective strategies and tools I can use to help with conflict resolution, behavioral management and up-leveling academic performance in my work with all parties." Desiree St. John, M.S. School Psychologist
Give Yourself to Love is a two-day workshop designed to teach students and licensed relationship professionals cutting-edge tools for creating fulfilling, intimate relationships, and for therapists to use these tools to achieve better success with their clients. This workshop has saved numerous marriages, helped singles heal and open to love again, and revived countless relationships devoid of intimacy and passion.
Our workshops include a mix of classroom teaching, group and paired experiential activities, and Q&A. You can attend by yourself or with a partner, friend or family member. The course is approved for 17 CE hours. Click below to see the full workshop website.
As Brian Lewis, a local MFT and art therapist, said after he attended the weekend with his wife, "LoveWorks has been my go-to referral for couples who seem stuck and need a big transformation. Everyone who’s gone has reported wonderful results. I can wholeheartedly attest to their excellence."
